Accelerated
Reader Certification
How
Do I Become AR Certified?
Independent Reader - Read three books, pass the quizzes and accumulate 10 points.
Super Reader - Read three books worth one point or more, pass the quizzes, and accumulate an additional 5 points. (Students must certify at Super Reader 1, 2, and 3.)
Advanced
Reader
- Read three books worth two points or more and pass the quizzes.
(Students must certify at Advanced Reader 1, 2, and 3.)
Star
Reader
- Read three books written at the 5.0 level worth 5 or more points and
pass the quizzes.
(Students must certify at Star Reader 1, 2, and 3.)
Classic Reader - Read three books at the 7.0 level worth 10 or more points and pass the quizzes.
Honors
Reader
- (Teachers will let you know when it is time to try for this level.)
Read books off of a "teacher created" list, pass the quizzes and earn
100 points from that list!
