        The purpose of the Broadcast Team is to enhance the instructional program at Midland Academy through involvement
in video production. Using the school's video distribution system, the Broadcast Team will be responsible for live productions
from the school's broadcast center in the Media Center. The team will cover school events by conducting interviews and shooting
digital video to use in the production of special programs.
        4th and 5th grade students are given applications to fill out for the Broadcast Team. Once they have turned in these
applications, their teachers fill out a teacher recommendation. After both of these are turned in, they are interviewed by the
Broadcast Team sponsor. Upon completion of this process, the students are chosen based on their application, teacher
recommendation and quality of interview.
        The Broadcast Team is responsible for the Daily Announcements that are broadcast daily through our video distribution
system. The students are responsible for managing and running the equipment, gathering any supplies needed for the broadcast
and anchoring the broadcast.
